Celadon Urn
せいじのつぼ Seiji no Tsubo
The Celadon Urn (せいじのつぼ, Seiji no Tsubo), localized as Celadon Pot in Suikoden IV and Suikoden V, is a recurring antique in the Suikoden series.
Information
The Celadon Urn is a porcelain vase fired in a blue-green color. The beautiful color of the porcelain is very popular in many countries. The selling price tended to range from 10,000 to 20,000 potch, with Celadon Urns in Gregminster in particular fetching up to 23,000 potch.
The Zexen appraiser Lebrante was an avid collector of Celadon Urns and once gladly joined the New Alliance Army in exchange for the last vase needed to complete his 100 urn collection. Following the Dunan Unification War, he would decide to expand his collection to 1,000 Celadon Urns.
Trivia
- In the 1999 localization of Suikoden II, Lebrante will frequently refer to the item as a Celadon Vase, though the in-game item itself is always called a Celadon Urn in the player's inventory.
