The Poison (毒, Doku) effect is a status effect seen in several games of the Suikoden series.

Information

In the world there was no shortage of creatures, such as venomous spiders and zombies, that used poison as a means of attack. As such, poisoning was a relatively frequent occurance to some.

However, its effects were extremely nasty, and those poisoned would have their life force slowly leave their body until they were cured with an antitoxin or by other means. As such, it was considered a good idea by travelers and adventurers to always have a supply of antitoxins on hand.
