The Fire Sealing Rune (火封じの紋章, Hifūji no Monshō) is a rune which appears in Suikoden II, Suikoden III, and Suikoden V.
This rune completely nullified fire-attribute attacks. No fire spell or command could hurt a bearer of this rune. On the other hand, the rune doubled damage received from water-attribute attacks, such as spells or commands, making it something of a double-edged sword.
The Fire Sealing Rune could prevent Zamza from taking damage from his Fire Dragon Rune. It could also be used to block damage from some of Luca Blight's attacks.
