Leonardo (レオナルド, Reonarudo) is a supporting character in Suikoden. Leonardo is one of Anji's subordinates in his pirate crew.

Biography

Look, I work for Anji and Anji alone. Don't you forget that. —  Leonardo

Leonardo surveys his empire of crates.

Leonardo was a master of the sickle and chain and a vandal who terrorised the Lake Toran area, serving under Anji in their band of pirates. He is passionate about fighting, wielding a hatchet in battle. Patrolling the lake, they looted Imperial ships for money and goods.

He is fiercely loyal to Anji, considering him a man worth risking one's life for, and followed his boss into the Toran Liberation Army along with Kanak after they were defeated by the leader of the Liberation Army, Tai Ho and Yam Koo. Even knowing the dangers of fighting the Empire first hard, he had not trouble committing himself to the cause. Even then, he would usually only accept orders from Anji.

Following the end of the Gate Rune War, Leonardo followed Anji and Kanak into their new shipping business.

Leonardo can be fought as an optional enemy in Suikoden. He fights the party alongside Anji and Kanak. He must be defeated in order to recruit him.
