Basic Information
Type
Forest

Sidas Forest (シダスの森, Shidasu no Mori) is a location in Genso Suikoden Tsumugareshi Hyakunen no Toki. It is a large forest located east of the Melisma Prairie.

Information

This large forest almost completely blocks out sunlight through its canopy, such is its density. Located deep within the forest is the featherfolk town of Gugleion. The forest's density helped keep out flying Teras Pharma though it did allow Ionian soldiers to pass through unimpeded also.

In HIY 100, Rodric would travel to Sidas Forest to test Seu Jin's arrows (through Yowinn's replicas) in solitude. In HIY 200, the ring maker Olmar lived in Sidas Forest in order to be close to his featherfolk friends but passed away soon after that year's Teras Pharma conflict.

Sidas Bracken, a wild vegetable, could be found in the area also.
