Sierra Mikain (シエラ・ミケーネ, Shiera Mikene) is a character in Suikoden II who also appears in Genso Suikogaiden Volume 1. She is a vampire, as well as the original bearer of the Blue Moon Rune.

Sierra Mikain is the original bearer of the Blue Moon Rune. The rune was so powerful that Sierra was able to create an entire coven of lesser vampires using the rune[1]. Sierra and her followers lived in happiness in Blue Rune Village, until a young member named Neclord stole the rune and ran away.
Sierra Mikain pursued Neclord, along with other vampires that preyed on humans. When Neclord attacked Tinto, Sierra joined forces with the New State Army to defeat him. Sierra Mikain was able to sense the Blue Moon Rune[2] and was able to reclaim it from Neclord at Tinto.
Afterwards, Sierra Mikain remained with the New State Army. Though she had trouble understanding humans, she found she liked the wine that Viktor brought her[3].
Following the war, Sierra Mikain decided to remain with humans[4], feeling no hurry to return to Blue Moon Village[5].
Trivia
- Despite regaining the Blue Moon Rune during the game, Sierra never uses it in battle.
