Biography

All right, I'm in. And betting on the Liberation Army. Glad to be of service.

—  Quincy
Nice.

Quincy was a strikingly handsome and skillful hunter living in the forests of the Scarlet Moon Empire, hoping to one day make a name for himself. During the Gate Rune War, he resented the damage done to his hunting grounds by the Imperial Army but refused to join the Toran Liberation Army as he felt the force was too small at the time and he was not willing to fight a losing battle.

As a hunter, Quincy felt that timing was everything, in hunting and in life, the two being much the same to him. Calculating his timing much like when he hunted his prey, when the momentum of the war shifted towards the Liberation Army, Quincy would readily join the force. He fought as part of the Adventurers unit, leading archers against the Imperial Army.

Despite being an expert archer, however, he reserved his bow only for hunting. In combat, he used kunai as his weapons of choice. At Toran Castle, he seemed to enjoy being stationed at the tower there but not as much as his forest home.

After the war, Quincy simply returned to his hunting lifestyle, living in freedom while hunting alone.

Trivia

  • According to Murayama Yoshitaka, Quincy was originally conceived of as a roster-filling pallet swap of Kirkis with the idea solicited from within the development team. He was eventually fleshed out a little beyond that and ended up more of a swap for Sydonia.
