Nameless Hero (Genso Suikoden Tierkreis Hoshikuzu no Shiro)

The Nameless Hero (名も無き英雄, Namonaki Eiyū), referred to simply as the Commander (団長, Danchō) in-game, is a major character in Genso Suikoden Tierkreis Hoshikuzu no Shiro who also appears in flashback in Suikoden Tierkreis.

History

This Nameless Hero was the same Nameless Hero who appeared in the visions of the Chronicle of the Shining Legacy, the surviving False Chronicle of the 8th world fusion. He was said to be roughly in his 30s during his war against the One King.

In the past, his child went missing in an accident involving the Corridor. Still, as he was unaware of the Corridor, the Nameless Hero was brought to despair and lost his path. He would attempt to find himself by joining the Order.

His wife, however, would believe in him and fight to save him, standing up against the Order. She would die in battle against the Order, the Nameless Hero witnessing her final moments while learning that his child could still be alive. Brought back to clarity, he would assume her mantle as leader of the Star Corps and continue her legacy.

As leader of the Star Corps, the Commander was often busy, but made time for both Tosh and Atrie, who reminded him of his lost son due to their similar ages. He would eventually gift the young Atrie his own sword.

As the One King descended on his world, the Commander would head the Star Corps into battle. Most would be felled in the fight, and he would be confronted by his own perpetual day, a vision of his wife and child. Still, the Nameless Hero shook off such illusions and fought to the end.

The Nameless Hero would die, along with his world. He died with hope, however, entrusting it to his son and the world he found himself in.
