The Banner Mountains (バナー山脈, Banā Sanmyaku) are a mountain range which appear in Suikoden and Suikoden II. Although rarely referred to directly, the mountain range is visible in both games.

Information

The rugged Banner Mountains stretch from southern South Window Principality in Dunan to the north-west of Arus in Toran. In Toran, Mt. Tigerwolf is the most prominent mountain in the mountain range, with the town of Sarady lying in the range.

In Dunan, Banner Village is located near the range and the Banner Pass takes travelers through part of the mountain range before reaching the border with the Toran Republic. The Banner Mines are located in this mountain range, on the border with the Dunan Republic.
