History

Assam was a legal officer within the Scarlet Moon Empire at the time of the War of Succession. He was also a close confidant and subordinate of Geil Rugner and a key member of his faction during the civil war.

Short and stout, he was dark in complexion and dressed in black. He wore a gold-rimmed monocle and was gray-haired with a prominent nose.

As part of his role before and during the War of Succession, he spent resources influencing members of the Imperial Court and also had Teo McDohl command an expedition to Gouran, which successfully kept him away from Gregminster as Geil became Emperor.
