Anita (アニタ, Anita) is a character in Suikoden II. She is a Falcon Rune user and the rival of Valeria.
Biography

Anita is a swordswoman who trained under Roundier Haia and received a Falcon Rune[1]. Valeria, another student, became Anita's rival and Anita swore to surpass her in skill[2].
Anita began a journey of training, but had difficulty finding opponents[3]. Eventually her travels took her to the City-States of Jowston, where she encountered Riou and joined the New State Army after being impressed by his personality.
Anita has a fondness for liquor and, when drunk, is easily picked up by almost anyone[4]. Despite her rivalry with Valeria, the two would drink together in Leona's tavern.
After the Dunan Unification War, Anita travelled to the Toran Republic to challenge Valeria, but after fighting to a draw, she continued her journey[5].
Trivia
- Anita's ending changes depending on whether or not the player recruits Valeria.
- Anita can be recruited in Muse City as well as Banner Village; if Valeria is in the party, the two will have special dialogue.
