Robber's Tea (ぬすっと茶, Nusutto Tya) is a type of tea seen in Suikoden. It is a drugged tea used by robbers to render their victims unconscious.
Information
Robber's Tea is a "specialty" of the Mt. Tigerwolf area of the Toran region. It is said to be extremely bitter and has an unusual smell.
In actually, it is a drugged tea used by Ledon to rob people staying at his inn on Mt. Tigerwolf. Those who ingest the tea tend to exhibit slurred speech briefly shortly after consumption before quickly falling unconscious. It is considered an old trick.
Later in the Gate Rune War, Krin would attempt to serve Robber's Tea to members of the Toran Liberation Army but its members were now wise to the trick and apprehended Krin instead.
The tea is said to be highly potent but an antidote can be prepared using a rabbit's tail, rose leaves, and a handful of sugar.
