The Janam Desert (ジャナム砂漠, Janamu Sabaku) is a location in Suikoden Tierkreis. It is a vast desert that covers large swaths of the eastern continent.
Information
The Janam Desert covers most of the territories of what was once known as the Magedom of Janam, except for areas around Salsabil. The desert appeared through world fusion with the 10th world fusion. This was planned by the Order of the One True Way in order to eliminate the group's most powerful military adversary.
A small oasis exists in the southwest of the desert and some mysterious ruins lie to the southeast. The remains of El-Qaral are buried in the sand, existing only through Rizwan's last-minute actions when she realised what was about to befall the Magedom.
