The Godspeed Rune (真神行法の紋章, Shin Shin Kou Hou no Monshō, True Spirit Travelling Method Rune), localised as True Holy Rune for Suikoden and Suikoden II, is a rune which appears in several games in the Suikoden series.
Suikoden
This unique rune comes equipped on Stallion. When Stallion is in your party, your movement speed is doubled. As there is no running feature, this can be a very useful skill.
Localisation issues
This rune was originally localised in Suikoden and Suikoden II as the True Holy Rune leading many to believe that it was one of the 27 True Runes. This is an understandable mistake as the first kanji "真" is the same kanji used at the start of each "True Elemental Rune" name as well as in the term "True Rune" itself. The name "Godspeed Rune" isn't really a more or less accurate localisation from a strict translating perspective. In truth, the term is just quite hard to localise but Godspeed Rune does remove confusion while still giving you an idea of what the rune is.
