Suikoden

My dream is to map the entire world.

—  Templeton

A young Kanakanian mapmaker[1] holding steadfast onto a dream to map the entire world in perfect detail[2]. He eventually mapped his way to the Scarlet Moon Empire, joining the Toran Liberation Army after the destruction of Lukie Ende Towayo in order to gain access to Toran Castle, so he could map it[3]. He hates war because they tend to drastically alter the landscape, forcing Templeton to backtrack and update his maps once again[4]. He also gave Hero (Suikoden) the Suiko Map, a map of the Toran region which proved useful over the course of the war[5].

Following the Gate Rune War, Templeton continued his journey, hoping to discover the edge of the world[6].

Trivia

  • In Suikoden II, his name is given as "Templton" (no second 'e'). This is because the name boxes in Suikoden II can only accommodate up to 8 characters.
