Hao-Shi (ハウ・シー, Hau Shī) is a minor character in Suikoden Tierkreis. Hao-Shi is a conservative member of the Scribes.
Biography
Hao-Shi was a particularly conservative member of the Scribes, firmly believing that group should not come into contact with the outside world. His beliefs were not baseless. He held this view because he was aware that the Scribes were the ones who gave Valfred knowledge of the True Chronicle and wished to avoid similar occurrences in future.
When Liu-Shen succeeded Lao-Kwan as Elder of the Scribes, Hao-Shi refused to recognize him as Liu's beliefs were much more open to the outside world. Still, as the world fusions were coming closer and closer to affecting the Scribes in the Woodland Village, Hao-Shi agreed that the Order of the One True Way was the more pressing issue and agreed to join the Company.
His time with the Company seemed to have broadened his worldview. Following the war, he recognized Liu as Elder and also persuaded those Scribes who wished to remain in the woods to move to the original Scribe hometown of Cynas.
