Bergen (ベルゲン Berugen) is a character in Gensosuikoden Short Story Collection 1. He was a military commander within the Scarlet Moon Empire who conspired with Geil Rugner to steal the throne from Barbarosa Rugner.
Biography
Bergen was a military commander, the protector of the Fortress of Kwaba and a member of Geil Rugner's faction during the War of Succession. With 1,000 cavalry soldiers under his command, he was joined at Kwaba by Schmidt's 2,000 cavalry solders in order to intercept General Teo McDohl.
Although the kidnap of General Teo's son was supposed to ensure their victory, their defense of Kwaba was unsuccessful once the child was rescued.
