Rubi (ルビィ, Rubii) is a character in the original Suikoden game. Rubi is an argumentative elf who left the Village of the Elves.

Rubi was an elf who abandoned the Village of the Elves after pointing out its adherence to tired, old traditions, when Kirkis was a youth.
During the Gate Rune War, he travelled to Kobold Village where he encountered Kirkis again. He rebuffed Kirkis' request for him to join the Toran Liberation Army, but later reversed his decision and agreed after realizing what a great warrior Kirkis had become in his absence. Following the Liberation War, Rubi was welcomed by Kirkis into the Village of the Elves and helped in its reconstruction.
