Toasty

The Toasty (ほかほか, Hokahoka) effect is a status effect seen in several games of the Suikoden series.

Information

Those who eat spicy food, such as Fried Tacos, may enter a state of being warm and fuzzy. When in this state, the body will continue to recover little by little for a certain period of time. By taking advantage of this state, people can be kept in top condition even during battle.

Trivia

• Toasty is one of the few status effects to have a visual effect outside of battle. The other one is Poison.
