Ema (エマ, Ema) is a supporting character in Suikoden IV and Suikoden Tactics. Ema is the devoted wife of Gary.
Biography

Ema was a caring wife who helped to support her husband, Gary, whose enthusiasm often got the best of him. With an easy-going personality and a gentle heart, she would watch over him, smiling, although she would not hesitate to chide him if necessary. Together, they travelled around the Island Nations only to find themselves in the Kingdom of Obel just as the Island Liberation War broke out.
She would remain on the island with Gary, despite having the chance to evacuate, as she wanted to help Princess Flare and boost the morale of the citizens who remained there during the Kooluk occupation. Following the island's liberation, she would join the crew of the Headquarters Ship alongside her husband.
Once the war ended, Ema and Gary resumed their travels, seeking a place where they could live in peace. They would eventually journey to Merseto where, after witnessing Kyril seeing off a bunch of unscrupulous merchants in the town, Gary decided to join Kyril's fight against the Rune Cannons and Ema gladly accompanied him.
