Kanak (カナック, Kanakku) is a supporting character in Suikoden. Kanak is one of Anji's subordinates in their pirate gang.

Kanak was the strong, but silent, member of the pirate crew operating on Lake Toran, serving with Leonardo under Anji. He is a friendly, even-tempered fellow[1][2] with great physical strength. He agreed to join the Toran Liberation Army with his friends[3] after they were defeated by Tir McDohl, Tai Ho and Yam Koo.
Kanak served alongside his companions during the Gate Rune War and following the formation of the Toran Republic, Kanak faithfully followed his friends into their new business venture[4].
