Lordlake (ロードレイク, Rōdoreiku) is a location seen in Suikoden V. It is a city in the southern part of the Queendom of Falena.
Information
Lordlake is located in the southern reaches of the Queendom of Falena. In times past, it was known as the "Jewel of the Queendom" as a beautiful city, rich in water. It was traditional governed by the Rovere family, its last governor being Lord Rodney Rondot Rovere.
However, following the events of the Lordlake Uprising, an enraged Queen Arshtat would raze the town with the power of the Sun Rune. After that, the city was completely devastated, and moves from both factions of the senate to further punished the town damaged its recovery prospects further. Following this, most of Lordlake's citizens had little choice but to leave the area, leaving only the infirm and stubborn in the town.
During the Sun Rune War, the dam at Hatred Fortress would be destroyed with the help of the beavers and the the Prince of Falena, allowing water to flow to Lordlake again and beginning the town's recovery.
