The Boost (ブースト, Būsuto) effect is a status effect seen in several games of the Suikoden series.

Information

Any target that is in a boosted state during battle doubles its attack power for a set duration. However, when the boosted state wears off, they take damage as a response, marking it as something of a double-edged sword.
