The Silence (沈黙, Chinmoku) effect is a status effect seen in several games of the Suikoden series.

Information

This status condition could be caused by an enemy's magic or special attack. A person who falls into this state becomes temporarily unable to speak. This was a very troublesome status change for magicians, as it renders runes, which relied on the chanting of spells for activation, unusable.
