The Star Corps (星の兵団, Hoshi no Heidan) is an organization in Genso Suikoden Tierkreis Hoshikuzu no Shiro.
Information
The Star Corps was an army of Starbearers formed to resist the advance of the Order and their plot to use world fusion to bring about the arrival of the One King.
The force was originally led by the wife of the Nameless Hero, who at the time was a member of the Order. After witnessing her death, however, he would turn on the Order and become the new leader and Tenkai Star of the Star Corps.
The Star Corps continued to grow in force and recruit more members and allies as the war against the Order intensified. They would briefly skirmish with the forces of the Leonos Kingdom when attempting to warn them of the Order's use of world fusion, but was unable to save the Kingdom's army from destruction.
Although the Star Corps were able to keep the Order's expansion at bay, they could prevent the arrival of the One King. The entire force would be wiped out attempting to battle the powerful entity and their world would be lost.
In another world of the Infinity, the history of the Star Corps is similar, except that the Nameless Hero always led the army. In that world, the Star Corps suffered a near complete rout even before battling the One King, bringing their leader to despair. In that despair, he would attempt to merge the power of the Starbearers to destroy the One King, becoming the One King himself.
