Yu (ユウ, Yū) is a supporting character in Suikoden IV and Suikoden Tactics. Yu is a doctor working in the Kingdom of Obel with a strong financial streak.
Biography

Yu was a doctor who worked in the Kingdom of Obel. He always insisted on proper payment for his services, which may have made him appear callous. In fact, he insisted on payment because he knew what to charge in order to cover the costs of medical supplies.
When the Kingdom of Obel fell to the Kooluk Empire, he agreed to join the crew of the Headquarters Ship, knowing that the sick and injured were being loaded onto the ship. He would be reunited with his assistant, Carrie, once Obel was liberated. Yu was also the doctor who treated Trishtan's hypochondria by prescribing him placebo medicine without his knowledge.
He did not charge for his services during the Island Liberation War as he was compensated for his time and supplies by Lino En Kuldes. This arrangement would continue after the war when, with Carrie's help, he would open up a free consultation office on Obel.
