History

Just because he worked on these imitations doesn't mean he's second or third-rate. That was a job he was pushed into.

—  Rodric

Yowinn was a civilian fletcher from Martylion. Though he worked as a fletcher during the HIY 100 Teras Pharma conflict, he gained little from the experience, viewing the world coldly. He would disappear following the conflict.

A master fletcher said to be able to reproduce any arrow he saw, Yowinn would provide Rodric with the imitation arrows needed to test Seu Jin's arrow quality in Sidas Forest. He was far more than a skilled imitator however and was able to craft masterful, original arrows as well. Rodric greatly respected his talent but also saw him as something of a selfish eccentric.

After completing his investigation, Rodric would try and put the Company in contact with Yowinn in West Tourmarie but to no avail. Yowinn refused to meet the group, not wanting to find out even the tiniest fraction of information about the future, claiming it would spoil the mystery. Following this, he headed west.

A few years later, Yowinn wandered into Hodos Village, entrusted the villagers with a single arrow, and left. A century later, that arrow would end up in the hands of Wafdi. Although by this point the arrow had deteriorated too much to learn directly from, the power of the 108 Stars meant that Yowinn's skill was transmitted to the Company's fletchers immediately.

In a branch of the Infinity where the chains of causality had been broken, Yowinn chose not to join a migrant caravan, nor tp live in Ionia. He instead continued to travel aimlessly as he pleased.
