Mukumuku (ムクムク, Mukumuku) is a character in Suikoden II. He is a Flying Squirrel who leads a band of his kind called the Flying Squirrel Corps.
Biography

Mukumuku is from the Greenhill Forest, like his companions, but sometimes frequented Kyaro Town in the Highland Kingdom[1]. In the past, while Hero (Suikoden II) and Nanami were training in Kyaro, Nanami found Mukumuku imitating Riou's moves. She sneaked behind the flying squirrel and leapt upon him. Bringing him back to Riou and Jowy, she named the squirrel Mukumuku and the group have known him ever since.
When Riou, Nanami and Jowy were forced to flee from Kyaro under accusation of treason, Mukumuku joined them in their escape. As the leader of his group, Mukumuku was considered brave, as well as having a sense of honour[2]. His trademark red cape, while distinctive, had nothing to do with his airborne abilities, however[3].
After the Dunan Unification War ended, Mukumuku returned to Greenhill Forest[4].

- Mukumuku appears in the pre-title screen opening video for Genso Suikogaiden Volume 1 but not in the game proper.
