Don't you call me an oldie!!

—  Moudi

Moudi was a herbalist from Hodos Village and the grandson of Wafdi. Though advanced in years, he was still active and full of energy, being something of an elder statesman for the village. At first glance stubborn, he is kind and caring at heart. He often misheared his name, Moudi, as the word "oldie", aggravating him (and confusing others) to no end.

He used to work with Sunil and her husband. Her husband's death would instill a deep antipathy towards the Holy Empire of Ionia in Moudi. As a youth, he was told by his grandfather, Wafdi, about the heroes who saved the village from an impending flood. In the present day, he would meet those same heroes as member of the Company, trying to convince the villagers to evacuate in the face of an impending battle between the Ionian Army's 3rd Branch and the Vermilion Axe.

Stubbornly refusing to believe the hero, a trip to the past and meeting his own grandfather as a youth would convince Moudi of the truth and the village would be successfully evacuated. Grateful that the heroes had saved his village a second time, Moudi would join the Company as an active herbalist. He would reunite with Sunil in the Apiro Desert, encouraging her to join the Company also.

At the fortress, he would find himself in arguments with Boldon over whose village had the superior liquor and with Jansen over his constant singing while he was trying to conduct research. He would eventually agree to tutor Jansen in the field of herbalism, in the hopes that it would take away from Jansen's performance time.

Following the fall of the barrier, scolding those who urged him to retire, Moudi continued to treat patients in the resettled Hodos Village.
