Assistant commander of the Blades of Night's Veil
Meruvis (メルヴィス, Meruvuisu) is a supporting character in Suikoden Tierkreis. Meruvis is the assistant commander of the Blades of Night's Veil and is fiercely loyal to Chrodechild.

History
Meruvis served as a knight of the Astrasian royal family. When the Kingdom of Astrasia fell to the Order of the One True Way, he would serve as Chrodechild's deputy commander of the Blades of Night's Veil. He was a rugged but orthodox soldier, swearing absolute loyalty to Chrodechild.
When Danash VIII attempted to foster a sense of competition between the Company and the Blades of Night's Veil, it was Meruvis' calm that helped prevent the situation from escalating. In addition, he suspected the involvement of Mourgent with the affairs of the Empire of the North Star, and turned his attention to keeping a close on him after he joined the Company.
After the battle with the One King ended, Meruvis was appointed the Commander of the Astrasia Royal Knights, remaining a loyal subordinate of Chrodechild all his life.
