Lun (ラン, Ran) is a supporting character in Suikoden V. Lun is the excitable and dedicated daughter of Kisara and Logg.

Biography

Lun is the daughter of Logg and Kisara. She has inherited her mother's looks but has more of her father's temperament. She's a balance between their two personalities, often trying to stop some of her father's crazy schemes but often allowing her enthusiasm to get caught up in said schemes. She is also an old friend, now rival, of Subala. The two fell out many years ago when Subala claimed that Lun stole her first love away. Lun herself can't even remember this childhood incident however the rift remains, with Lun referring to Subala as a 'moron' and a 'redneck'.

In SY 449, prior to the outbreak of the Sun Rune War, Lun went after her father to stop him from taking gold dust from the rivers in Lunas, but eventually ending up aiding in his endeavour. Eventually captured by the Prince and Isato, Lun and Logg were brought back to Raftfleet in secret in order to avoid an incident between the town and the government.

Although punished harshly upon her return, being forced to gut a thousand barrelfish, Lun felt she owed a debt to the Prince and so later, following the Godwin coup d'etat, Lun, along with her father assisted the Prince several times, transporting him by boat and helping him with the rescue of Lucretia Merces from Agate Prison. The two also proved vital in destroying Hatred Fortress and restoring water to Lordlake, the two controlling the ship loaded with oil which they crashed into the fortress setting it ablaze.

Following the formation of the Imperial City Recapture Amry by the Prince and the establishment of a base at Ceras Lake, Lun continued to provide her help. When the Feitas Dragon Cavalry entered into an alliance with the Recapture Army, Lun began taking an interest in dragon horses, although her father worried that she was up to something more unsavoury with the young men of the Dragon Cavalry. The interfering Logg often annoyed both Lun and Kisara, especially when he started confronting individual members of the group. Still, Roog was impressed that Lun was not scared of the dragon horses, seeing as she was not a native of Sauronix Castle. She was disappointed, however, that women could not join the Cavalry.

However, following the Sun Rune War, the Dragon Cavalry underwent reformation under the new leadership of Rahal, allowing Lun to join. Although her father's visits never went over well, due to his paranoia and over-protective nature, after rigorous training, she became the organisation's first female rider.
