Kureyah (クレイア, Kureia) is a minor character in Suikoden Tierkreis. Kureyah is the 3rd Empress Consort of the Magedom of Janam and seeks to expand her power and influence by whatever means available.
History
Kureyah is the daughter of the Viceroy of Salsabil, Masrur, and the 3rd Empress Consort of the Magedom of Janam as the husband of Danash VIII. She is also the mother of Crown Prince Shams, giving her a measure of political influence going beyond her position of 3rd Empress Consort.
As part of the court's power struggles, she regarded her rivals, Rizwan and Shairah, as an "inexplicable witch" and a "vulgar, vulgar woman" respectively. Kureyah would also attempt to pressure her father into giving unreasonable amounts of support to the royal court, in an attempt to increase her standing.
With the fusion of the 10th world, she was erased, being in El-Qaral at the time. She would be remembered by Shams and Manaril due to their status as Starbearers but to the world at large, she existed no more.
Trivia
- Her name could also be localized as "Clair", but then that wouldn't be very exotic, would it?
