Konrad (コンラッド, Konraddo) is a supporting character in Suikoden IV. Konrad is a retired magician who once tutored Katarina and was a friend of Commander Glen.

History

Konrad was a magician who served as a magic instructor for the Knights of Gaien in the past. Katarina was one of the many students he tutored in magic in his time as an instructor. He was also a friend of Glen Cott and knew of the relationship between he and Katarina, though he never spoke of it.

Although he was not a young man by the time of the Island Liberation War, he could still be roused to fight given the right motivation. As a talented magician, the equal of Katarina at least, he came out of retirement in order to aid in the war against the Kooluk Empire.

After the war, Konrad remained active, stepping up to become the magic instructor for the new knights in Razril, earning further acclaim for his abilities.
