History

So, uh... This here was written by an ancestor of those sisters with the same sorta names, yeah?

—  Gonbosren

Ketil was an armorer and leading Martylion craftsman. As such, he had many apprentices and was appointed to oversee all Holy Imperial Army armor during the HIY 100 Teras Pharma conflict. In doing so, he became resentful of Ionia's autocratic rule and left the Holy Empire post-war, returning to Martylion.

Odo was an acquaintance of Ketil and tried to persuade him to journey to Tios Fortress to meet the members of the Company. He refused, despite Odo and Kiaro's efforts, not believing their story about Stars of Destiny and Era Trees. Still, the attempt had some effect. Ketil would write down his techniques and leave them for his descendants. Following this, Ketil would put his energy into aiding Ufred's Martylion independence movement.

This change in history would lead to Ketil's writings 'suddenly' appearing in Sunil's belongings. Confused, she would hand the writings over to the hero, who would then pass them on to the Company's armorers, allowing them to inherit Ketil's abilities. Both Judiela and Gonbosren were highly impressed with work. Gonbosren even remarked he was glad that Ketil's descendants were not armorers, otherwise his own business would be sunk.

In a branch of the Infinity where the chains of causality had been broken, Ketil led a crafter's guild in Martylion to provide much needed tools to Ufred's migrant caravans.
