Biography

I haven't yet found the colour I'm looking for.

—  Ivanov

Ivanov is a genius painter, known for his keen senses and excellent sense of colour. "Freedom" was always the theme of his works, but he found himself imprisoned in Scarleticia Castle by Milich Oppenheimer, who coveted his abilities. However, while there, Ivanov found himself unable to paint, his lack of freedom destroying his creative energies no matter the environment.

During the Toran Liberation Army's siege on Scarleticia Castle, he beseeched the army to give him his freedom. Following the defeat of Milich, a reinvigourated Ivanov remarked that he had never seen true freedom and would join the Liberation Army so he could see real freedom.

At Toran Castle, with the aid of paints discovered over the course of the Gate Rune War, Ivanov completed a mural of prominent Liberation Army warriors as part of his meditation on freedom. Delighted with the progress he had made on trying to discover freedom, he would gift his binoculars. Following the end of the war, Ivanov set out on a journey, to try and discover the "colour of freedom."
