Hong Long (ホンロン, Honron) is a character who appears in Genso Suikoden Short Story Collection 4. He was an acclaimed swordsman from a foreign country.

Biography
Hong Long was a duelist who gained notoriety for killing several skilled swordsmen and scarring their bodies with slashes not unlike that of a tiger. He defeated and killed Liu Shao, one of the most skilled warriors in the country. However, it was this murder that brought the vengeance of Liu Mei, Liu Shao's daughter, on him.
Noticing an increase of deaths following the same pattern, Hong Long was tracked down and he would be defeated by Liu Mei, with the aid of Genshu, who had taken her on as his apprentice.
