Antoinette (アントワネット Antowanetto) was a type of giant flower seen in Suikoden.
Information
Antoinette was a giant rose bred and used by Milich Oppenheimer at the First and Second Battle at Scarleticia Castle.
This giant rose was entangled around the outer walls of Scarleticia Castle and was extremely poisonous, capable of leveling whole groups of people who approached it if no antidote were prepared. Milich Oppenheimer cultivated the flower and its poisonous powder while under the influence of the Conqueror Rune given to him by Windy.
Unprepared for such defenses, the Toran Liberation Army was quickly routed in their initial assault on Scarleticia. Following the rescue of Liukan from Soniere Prison, an antitoxin was prepared which allowed the Liberation Army to emerge victorious in the second battle. Once Scarleticia fell to the Liberation Army, the flower were burned and destroyed.
