Antei (アンティ, Antei) is a town which appears in Suikoden. Known as Bier Blanche (ビィル・ブランシェ, Byiru Buranshe) for a short period of time, Antei is a large township in the region of Kunan.
Suikoden
Antei can be considered the center of Kunan and is known as a trading town. The town is also known for producing several artists and skilled engineers. Surrounded by seasonal flowers, the town is a popular tourist destination.
During the Gate Rune War, the town was renamed "Bier Blanche" due to the uniform white walls of the town, as per Milich Oppenheimer's command. However, the new name proved unpopular and a protest was organised, which marched on Scarleticia Castle. However, the group was repelled by the poisonous flowers surrounding the citadel. After Milich was defeated and the region liberated by the Toran Liberation Army, the town's name reverted back to Antei.
Trivia
- Antei's alternative name, Bier Blanche, is meant to be "Ville Blanche", the Town of White.
