Siu Jin (シウ・ジン, Shiu Jin) is a supporting character in Genso Suikoden Tsumugareshi Hyakunen no Toki. Siu Jin is a famed apothecary, known for her skill and compassion.

Biography

It is admirable to help all living beings in this world, but it's better to help your family and friends, right?

—  Siu Jin

Siu Jin was a Coutanese apothecary who served in the 2nd Branch of the Holy Imperial Army during the HIY 100 Teras Pharma conflict. A highly talented medicine maker who broke from tradition by studying medicine techniques that originated outside of Coutan, it said that if Astrid was the war goddess that saved the country, then Siu Jin was the healing goddess that saved its people.

At the direction of Astrid, Siu Jin and Hugues awaited the hero in the Apiro Desert in order to pass on their skills to members of the hero's company. Like all Coutanese, she looked more youthful than she actually was. She noted when meeting Nido that she was almost certainly older than him.

After helping the Company, she would inform them of Seu Jin's situation and worked with Hugues to plant an Era Tree in Sidas Forest so that the Company could investigation further. Siu Jin's legendary prowess would inspire her descendant, Chamjin, to become an apothecary in turn.

Following the fall of the barrier, she helped mass produce her potent medicines for the emigrant caravans, allowing them to travel without fear. In the branch of the Infinity where Renefarious continued to reign, she would maintain her reputation as the healing goddess, aiding those wounded in the struggle for independence.
