Champo (チャンポ, Chanpo) is a supporting character in Suikoden IV and Suikoden Tactics. Champo is a friendly Nay-Kobold with ambitions to become a great merchant.
Biography
|
Champo is a young Nay-Kobold who admired and looked up to his friend Nalkul. Although he tended to move at a leisurely pace, giving the impression of someone who was slow, he was a prodigy at catching rates. In fact, he was the greatest rat-catcher on all of Nay Island. In other respects, he was a typical Nay-Kobold; fond of fish and disdainful of baths.
When Nalkul stole and lost the Golden Seal, it was Champo who was able to recover the seal from the warehouse it was lost in. Following this, he would join the crew of the Headquarters Ship along with Nalkul, eager to learn from his hero, Chiepoo.
Following the Island Liberation War, he would open a business along with Nalkul under the tutelage of Chiepoo, putting in the hard work neccessary to turn the early struggles into future success.
Confessions
You have done well by coming here. In this room, you may confess what is in your heart and accept proper judgement.
...? I don't really get you...
Would you secretly inform me about anyone onboard this ship who you think is causing problems?
Problems? What...is that?
Then, would you tell me what you think of Lazlo?
Mr. Lazlo? I know! He's Mr. Chiepoo's underling!
Finally, quietly confess the things you wish to atone for, or all the things that you are thankful for.
...I don't really get it, but...I'm not apologizing! Nalkul told me you've lost if you apologize!
Forgiven
Hmm? ...I did it!! I did it Nalkul!!
Punished
