The Underground Ruins (地下遺跡, Chika Iseki) are a location in Genso Suikoden Tsumugareshi Hyakunen no Toki. They are ancient ruins located north of Hodos Village.
Information
These ancient underground ruins were located north of Hodos Village across the river. Forgotten to time, the Vermilion Axe would use these ruins as a hideout while preparing to attack the Ionian 3rd Branch at Martylion. Due to their seclusion in these ruins the Vermilion Axe remained unspotted even after the Company restored the bridge across the river.
Uncovering and investigating the ruins, the Company found Zoxiom within cultivating Teras Pharma. The Company would defeat Zoxiom in battle, costing him his life.
A century prior the Yuga shaman Kauriya had holed herself up in these ruins as she conducted her search. A slate left behind would pass on her skills to the Company's shaman Stars of Destiny.
