Juppo (ジュッポ, Juppo) is a supporting character in Suikoden. Juppo is a trickster, as well as an inventor.
Biography
Suikoden
|
Juppo was an employee of Lepant, describing himself as a trickster[1] and a "fellow thief[2]," having built the mechanic dolls which protected his Gouran mansion as well the giant wheel which prevented people from stealing Lepant's sword Kirinji[3]. Juppo turned off the mechanical men when confronted by the Toran Liberation Army who were attempting to steal Kirinji, but proclaimed himself unable to turn off the larger device[4]. Juppo joined the rebel force along with Lepant soon after.
Later, Juppo would encounter his niece Meg in Kaku. He tried to prevent her from joining the Liberation Army[5] and later stated he wouldn't teach her anything[6], something which frustrated Meg[7].
Following the end of the Gate Rune War, Juppo departed on a journey, to find a bigger "trick"[8].
