Biography

Suikoden

My job is cutting the heads off criminals. But as you see, business has been slow lately.

—  Kirke

Kirke was an executioner who was based at the Fortress of Lorimar, remarking that business had been slow, due to Neclord's reanimation of the dead in the region. His work, decapitating criminals, had left a profound darkness in his heart. The invitation extended to him to join the Toran Liberation Army allowed him to escape his disliked job, giving him a new chance in life.

As a member of the Wild Geese unit, the scythe that had once come down on the necks of the condemned was now drawn out for the new world he fought for. Following the fall of the Scarlet Moon Empire, Kirke changed careers, exchanging his scythe for a plow and becoming a farmer.
