Roberto (ロベルト, Roberto) is a supporting character in Suikoden Tierkreis. Roberto is the youngest member of the Blades of Night's Veil whose arrogance and temperament frequently brings him into conflict with the hero.
Biography

Roberto was the youngest member of the Blades of Night's Veil. While the Kingdom of Astrasia still stood, he was only a squire but after Astrasia's fall to the Order he trained with the goal of liberating his homeland, eventually being recognized as a full-fledged knight.
He holds an intense loyalty to both Astrasia and Princess Chrodechild as her liege and commander. He had a tendency to look down on other people and for quite some time he showed hostility and annoyance towards the hero and his frank familiarity. Over time, however, Roberto would recognize and come to appreciate his attitude of not treating people differently based on appearance or title.
Roberto regretted the way he treated Cougar as a monster when they first met and when he heard the Furious Roar was witnessed in the Marsinah Plains, he insisted on investigating. Despite growing to fit in with the Company, he still occasionally chaffed against his comrades. Nevertheless, he continued to give his all.
After the end of the war with the Order, he became a member of the Astrasia Royal Knights but, per his request, was assigned on loan to the castle to continue working with the Company.
