Hong Long (ホンロン, Honron) is a character who appears in Gensosuikoden Short Story Collection 4. He was an acclaimed swordsman from a foreign country.
Biography
Hong Long was a duelist who gained notoriety for killing several skilled swordsmen and scarring their bodies with slashes not unlike that of a tiger. He defeated and killed Liu Shao, one of the most skilled warriors in the country. This murder allowed him to become the main dojo master in their home town, absorbing most of Liu Shao's students after his death.
Noticing an increase of deaths following the same pattern, Hong Long was tracked down and he would be defeated by Liu Mei, Liu Shao's daughter, with the aid of Genshu, who had taken her on as his apprentice. His life would be spared, despite Genshu's protestations.
