The speedboat (高速艇, Kōsokutei) is a craft that appears in Suikoden.

Information

The speedboat was a boat that was powered not by sails but by an engine, a machine that moves by burning oil. This engine was designed by the alchemist Kamandol and working together with Gen, the two were able to modify an existing boat of the Toran Liberation Army to use the engine.

The resulting speedboat was powerful enough to move through the Rapids of Dunan, allowing the Liberation Army to reach Liukan's Hermitage.
