Sophia (ソフィア, Sofia) is a supporting character in Suikoden Tierkreis. Sophia is a Librarian completely devoted to the Order of the One True Way, protected by her bodyguard, Nova.

History

Sophia was the daughter of Nova, a member of the Order of the One True Way. When the Mark of the Stars was implanted in him from the Chronicle of the Sacred Twin Blades, he was driven mad and ended up killing his wife and severely injuring Sophia.

Since that incident, Sophia twisted her recollections so that Valfred became her father. She was implanted with the mark of the True Chronicle herself, giving her incredibly resilience against injury and sickness and served the Order as a loyal Librarian from that point on.

Sophia would fight the Company several times over the course of the their war against the Order. For the defense for Fort Arc, she would be implanted with the Chronicle of Boundless Amber, transforming her into a near-invulnerable sand monster. Eventually, thanks to the strategies of the Company, the Chronicle was removed and she was rescued from the Order's clutches.

Sophia would regain her memories of Nova as her father, the two would reunite and Sophia would join the Company to compensate for her past sins. As part of the Company, she became friends with Manaril, the two bonding over their similar experiences.

After the war, Sophia would use her mark of the True Chronicle to assist Manaril's research, achieving many breakthroughs.
