Onil (オニール, Onīru) is a supporting character in Suikoden. Onil is a serial gossiper whose web of information often helped out the Toran Liberation Army.

Onil, despite appearing to be a normal gossip, had access to much classified information. She was aware of the disappearance of Odessa Silverberg, long before information about her death was released[1]. She was also aware of Hero (Suikoden)'s ascendency to leader of the Toran Liberation Army almost immediately after it happened[2]. Knowing the Liberation Army to be short on people[3], she joined, naturally knowing exactly where Toran Castle was located[4]. Sometimes asking for information[5] and sometimes dispensing it[6][7], Onil continued to serve as a centre of rumours for the Liberation Army.
Following the end of the Gate Rune War, Onil merely continued her gossiping ways[8].
