Raging Nostrum (烈身の秘薬, Retsumi no Hiyaku) is an elixir that appears in Suikoden V.

Raging Nostrum is a powerful drug created by Nether Gate's drug development department. The drug granted superhuman strength to whoever drinks it. However, imbibing the elixir also causes you to lose all reason and once the effect wears off, the user will die painfully.
The drug itself also degrades quickly, meaning that supplies of the drug are few and that new batches have to be created constantly. During the Sun Rune War, many members of Nether Gate and the Godwin Faction, including Childerich, Alenia and Zahhak, would imbibe the drug. All users of the drug would become feral and wild and died after using it.
