Biography

That's right, I'm no more than a third-rate craftsman who can't even make a decent arrow!

—  Seu Jin

Seu Jin was a Coutanese bowyer who crafted arrows for use at Zephtelos Fortress during the HIY 100 Terrus Firma conflict. Although highly regarded by his peers, his arrows came under criticism from Rodric for supposedly being ineffective against Terrus Firma.

Despondent that his arrows were ineffective against the Terrus Firma, he vowed to redeem his reputation. Frustrated, he was prone to lashing out at people. Eventually with the help of the hero, Rodric's research in Sidas Forest proved the arrows performed well when shot correctly and understanding that Seu Jin was not at fault, returned and apologized profusely.

Seu Jin reacted brusquely but agreed to continue crafting arrows for the sake of their descendants. He also concluded that the difficulty that Rodric's men had in utilizing his arrows was a valid problem and one he vowed to rectify in future designs. In the future, Ouya and Ephil would benefit from his techniques.

Seu Jin was also the man who sent the hero to see Laquila, describing her as a fellow crafter who suffered due to the war, despite surviving.

Following the fall of the barrier, he and several Coutanese descendants set out for the site of the Coutan Republic. They know there is nothing left, but what they discovered, if anything, is unknown. In the branch of the Infinity where the chains of causality were not broken, with Rodric's help, he devoted himself to arrow development and upon perfecting it, inscribed the process on a stone tablet at Zephtelos Fortress.
